1. Phenomena [4K UHD] (1985)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Because it presents the first lead role for Jennifer Connelly and it comes from a famous director, Phenomena boasts some historical value. Unfortunately, the end product gives us a silly and barely coherent mix of genres that never works. Starring Jennifer Connelly, Donald Pleasence. Synapse, $49.95, 3/14/2023.

2. A Beautiful Mind [Blu-Ray] (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I didn’t expect to care for A Beautiful Mind, I actually found it to offer a reasonably engaging experience. The movie suffered from some of director Ron Howard’s soppy tendencies, but it usually came across as a believable and compelling examination of one man’s battle with mental illness. Starring Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly. Universal, $1

4. Dark Water: Unrated (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I’ve not gotten much out of other horror flicks adapted from Japanese films, but Dark Water turns out to be the exception to that rule. Subtle, creepy and involving, it provides a surprisingly successful effort. Starring Jennifer Connelly, John C. Reilly. Touchstone, $29.99, 12/26/2005.

5. Labyrinth: Collector's Edition Boxed Set (1986)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As the third DVD of Labyrinth, I need to address for whom – if anyone – the Collector’s Edition makes sense. Frankly, I find it really tough to recommend it to anyone other than those who a) simply, absolutely adore Labyrinth and b) have bucks to spare. Starring David Bowie, Jennifer Connelly. Columbia TriStar, $49.95, 2/3/2004.

6. Hulk: Special Edition (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Each time I watch this movie, I hope I’ll finally like it, but that day has yet to arrive. It rarely engages and too often bores ... Other than the erratic visuals, I like this release, but the flick itself remains a major disappointment. Starring Eric Bana, Jennifer Connelly. Universal, $14.98, 10/28/2003.

9. He's Just Not That Into You (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While not a great – or even very good – movie, He’s Just Not That Into You provides more entertainment than I expected. The film boasts an excellent cast and moves at a brisk enough pace to ensure that we never become too bored ... This is a fair “date night” rental but not more than that. Starring Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston. New Line, $28.98, 6/2/200

10. Labyrinth [Blu-Ray] (1986)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Labyrinth will never be one of my favorite films, and if it didn’t star my all-time favorite performer, I’d probably never have bothered with it. Still, it has enough going for it that kids should enjoy it. The Blu-ray presents very good picture along with pretty positive audio and a strong set of supplements. The Blu-ray doesn’t blow away the prior DVD
